Excellent Days Racing!

Well we had it all today at the Heart of England for what was probably one of the most enjoyable race meetings of the year so far.

With an admirable turnout and some excellent weather the scene was certainly set for some exciting races.

With the dogs split in to light-weight, middle-weight and heavy-weight groupings there was opportunity to fettle the handicaps for some extra close finishes in the later rounds.

Star performer of the day was probably Casper Jack who looked comfortable in making a cool hattrick of wins.

Other notable performances came from Tickled Pink who managed to make it third time lucky in bagging the light-weight final. Lucky Lucy also made a strong showing in all three of her races as a trial dog, using her good early turn of speed to finish near the front on all occassions.

A big thank you to William for running the day so smoothly and a big thank you to everyone for playing their part in making it such a fun day for all.
