Welcome to the official home of the Heart of England Pedigree Whippet Racing Club. The purpose of this website is to promote the club and to promote whippet racing and whippet ownership in general.

Congratulations to Gus and Scooter for succesfully passing their straight racing trials this month. Gus will be racing under the name 'Golden Wonder' whilst Scooter will be running under the moniker 'Twist & Go'.

These two passes late in the year, as well as several passes expected early next year will swell the racing-ranks significantly at the club - so heres to a well populated and exciting season in 2009!

This website serves as a portal for club members as well as a way of non-members getting to know and understand what our club is all about.

The Heart of England P.W.R.C. is one of the premier clubs in the Midlands and the place to come pedigree whippet racing if you live in and around Birmingham, Coventry, Rugby, Leicester, Nottingham, Stafford, Burton et. al.

We are currently a small but competitive club and this site forms part of new plans to increase our membership. If you're thinking of joining but uncertain, just come along and see for yourself without obligation. We are a very friendly club and you will be made more-than-welcome.
